Arrive & Settle In
Nairobi → Tigoni
- Depart Nairobi and wind through the hills to Tigoni.
- Arrive at Ridge Cabin, settle into your room, and let the journey melt away.
- The afternoon is yours.
- Lunch is served
- boat riding, a bouncy house, jenga, football, bike riding, tea picking and face painting are all part of the fun, at whatever pace your little one sets.
Evening: Dinner at the hotel.

Who is the Tigoni trip for?
This escape is designed for moms traveling with their little ones. Future VillageAway trips will open up to more family configurations, including dads, grandparents, and beyond.
How many people are going?
We're keeping it small on purpose, just a handful of moms and their little travelers, so the trip stays intimate and unhurried.
Do I need to be based in Kenya to join?
Not at all. VillageAway is open to moms worldwide. Fly or travel in from wherever you are. Getting to Tigoni is on you unless your inclusions say otherwise.
How does payment work?
After completing your travel profile, you'll pay via the VillageAway M-Pesa Till and submit your transaction code. Payments are verified manually, and you'll receive confirmation directly from us once that's done.
What if my child has allergies or specific needs?
Tell us in your travel profile. It's exactly why we ask, so we can plan around what your little one actually needs.
Is this a one-time trip, or will there be more?
This is one of several VillageAway escapes, not our last. We're building toward a bigger village, with trips to new destinations over time.
